Do you have the next Tiger Woods in the making? Perhaps, you’re just interested in cultivating your child’s interest in scoring a hole-in-one. What better way to expose your child to the game of golf than to surround their budding swing with the beautiful scenery of Golden Gate Park?
With a mission to teach life skills, such as teamwork, focus, and commitment through the game of golf, the San Francisco Jr. Golf League offers after-school instruction, Saturday lessons, and summer camps – all year round at Golden Gate Park.
Junior golf class instruction includes lessons that take place on the course with guidance on the putting green and practice range. Appropriately sized golf clubs, balls, and tees are provided to golfers. Classes are comprised of roughly eight similarly aged students to each instructor. After classes, golfers receive healthy snacks and pro shop tokens for good behavior.
Junior golf at Golden Gate Park goes beyond practicing and learning the game on a recreational sport level, but also involves educational field trips and entertaining birthday parties. For examples, celebrations for junior golfers consist of 90 minutes of instruction, equipment rental, hot foods, and drinks served in a designated party area for $35 per junior golfer.
