Are you ready for one of the largest Earth Day celebrations in the United States? Between April 18th and 20th, you will encounter the opportunity to take in the global energy of the Green Apple Music & Arts Festival – centered on simultaneous concerts scattered about the country.

This year – New York City, Chicago, Miami, Denver, Dallas, Los Angeles, Washington DC, and San Francisco are expected to receive more than 500,000 people for this exciting occasion.

The uniqueness of this event involves eight parks and more than 150 venues that will transform into a “Green Apple Venue” – an act of support that will shed light on the importance of becoming an environmentally conscious citizen. Speedway Meadow at Golden Gate Park will host the likes of Mickey Hart & Friends; Brett Dennen; and the Yonder Mountain String Band on April 20th – starting at noon.

If you wish to enjoy the Golden Gate Park performances – don’t worry – no ticket is required. However, other presentations about town will expect a paid entrance.

I encourage you to come out and participate in this memorable community get-together, which utilizes organic cotton T-shirts, bio-diesel generators, recycled goods, public transportation, as well as good company and music.
