Golden Gate Park is filled with breathtaking flowers both inside and out, as the de Young Museum (50 Hagiwara Tea Garden Drive) presents ‘Bouquets to Art’ – the 24th annual presentation of this event – from March 11th to March 15th, 2008. More than 150 floral arrangements will decorate the museum, paying homage to the start of the spring season. Thanks to the best Bay Area designers – an assortment of art works and sculptures found in the museum serves as inspiration for these delightful creations.

It is truly an experience for the senses, as an array of color and scents fill the air. In addition to this uplifting Golden Gate Park event, a collection of lectures, speakers, and demonstrations are offered at the museum. This event runs from 9:30am to 5:15pm (with the exception of Friday; 9:30am – 8:45pm). Ticket prices gain entry to all floral exhibits and the special Gilbert and George display – Adults ($15); Seniors ($12); Youths ($11); and Children under 13 (free). Tickets available at www.museumtix.com. Contact: 415-750-3504 for more information.
