Last weekend, the Vintage Paper Fair was held at the Hall of Flowers, San Francisco County Fair Building on Saturday and Sunday. With free admission, visitors got a chance to browse a collection of old drawings, photographs, vintage advertisements, trade cards, Victorian memorabilia, labels, unique postcards, and examples of old paper.

The fair represented the largest selection of such items in the West Coast with more than one million items for sale. There is no telling what historic finds were hidden amongst the many vendors, who came from all over the United States, including Portland, Oregon and Phoenix, Arizona.

Locals who had vintage paper items lying around also enjoyed a free appraisal of their goods. The next San Francisco event will be held August 3 and 4 at the Hall of Flowers.
