The Outside Lands Festival is just around the corner, and if you’ve already got your ticket in hand, then we have a few details to share regarding some of the upcoming performances.

If you were looking forward to hearing the soulful crooning of D’Angelo on Friday, his performance will be a no-go due to a ‘medical emergency.’ Instead, the disco group Chic featuring Nile Rodgers will take his place from 6:05 p.m. to 7:05 p.m, which will close the lineup of Sutro Stage sets for the night. In case you didn’t know, Chic gained popularity in the past for their hits, “Good Times,” “Le Freak” and “I Want Your Love.”

Pretty Lights has announced a special interactive light show for party-goers who come to hear the band at the Twin Peaks stage on Friday night – from 8:40 p.m. to 9:50 p.m. If you’re interested in taking part in the interactivity, you will need to download the OSL app, which is found here: http://www.sfoutsidelands.com/apps/. During the show, when you are instructed to ‘Put Your Apps Up,’ open the app, and tap ‘Wham City’. Hold your phone high in the air, and become a part of the performance.
