Transportation from St. Regis Hotel to Golden Gate Park

1. Car or Taxi

Expect about a 17-minute car or taxi ride from the hotel to the park. Start by heading northwest on Columbus Avenue toward North Point Street, before making a left turn onto North Point Street. Take the 2nd left onto Hyde Street, followed by taking the 2nd right onto Bay Street. Turn left onto Gough Street, before making a right turn onto Geary Blvd. Make a left onto Webster Street, and then a right onto Turk Street. Turn left onto Stanyan Street, and the park will be on your right.

2. Bike

It takes about 38 minutes by bike to reach Golden Gate Park from the St. Regis.

Start by heading northwest on Columbus Avenue toward North Point Street, and then make a left turn onto North Point Street. Turn left onto Polk Street, followed by a right turn onto McAllister Street. Turn left onto Baker Street before turning right onto San Francisco Bicycle Route 30. You will need to turn right to keep on the bike route. Make a left onto Fell Street, and then a right onto Stanyan Street. You will see the park on your left.

3. Bus

Taking a bus from the hotel to the park requires a transfer between two buses. The quickest route to take starts with the 30-bus (Stockton – Direction: the Marina District), which leaves from Columbus Ave & North Point Street, and arrives at Chestnut St & Fillmore Street. From here, you will then transfer to the 43-bus (Direction: the Crocker-Amazon District), which leaves Chestnut St & Fillmore St, and arrives at Cole St & Haight Street. Walk straight down the street to reach the park. The entire trip takes 49 minutes to complete.
