1. Car or Taxi

A 17-minute ride by car or taxi will take you from the hotel to the park. Start by heading northwest on Columbus Avenue toward North Point Street, before making a left onto North Point Street. Take the 2nd left onto Hyde Street, followed by a 2nd right onto Bay Street. Turn left onto Gough Street, and then make a right onto Geary Blvd. Make a left onto Stanyan Street, and the park will be on the right.

2. Bike

It takes about 38 minutes to bike from the Marriott Hotel to Golden Gate Park.

Start by heading northwest on Columbus Avenue toward North Point Street, and then make a left onto North Point Street. Turn left onto Polk Street, and then make a right onto McAllister Street. Turn left onto Baker Street, followed by a left turn onto Baker Street. Turn right onto San Francisco Bicycle Route 30. You will have to turn right to stay on the bike route. Make a left onto Fell Street, followed by a right onto Stanyan Street. The park will be on your left.

3. Bus

The quickest way to reach Golden Gate Park from the Marriott by bus requires a transfer.

You will first walk about 2 minutes to reach the 47-bus (Van Ness – Direction: Caltrain) departing at North Point Street and Jones Street. It will take you to Van Ness Avenue and Mcallister Street. A quick 1-minute walk gets you to the 5-bus transfer (Fulton – Direction: Ocean Beach) departing from Mcallister Street and Van Ness Avenue, and arriving at Fulton Street and Stanyan Street West.

The entire trip takes about 47 minutes to complete.
